For family camping there’s nothing like a double mat for real comfort and, true to form, Multimat has produced a double version of one of its most popular mats.

The Camper 25 Double is, as the name suggests, a cheap double self-inflating mat. And when we say double, we mean double – it’s nearly 2.5x the width of the standard mat at a whopping 4ft 3ins wide and more than six feet long to help you get a good night’s sleep.

Yet it is designed with a fold down the middle which allows for a thicker single mattress option if desired, another benefit is that it can be rolled up to just 2ft 3ins long and 7.5ins thick.

It has two valves to ensure full and fast inflation and comes complete with retaining bands to keep it tightly rolled, a stuff sack for easy packing and a repair kit. This may be a relatively cheap self-inflating double mat but we think the Camper 25 Double is a real steal.
